If you’re looking for a quick escape from danger (I know I am because I’m always picking fights with everyone I shouldn’t), then you need to find and capture Dogen in Palworld because of his excellent teleportation abilities.
Where to find Dogen in Palworld – Location
Dogen is a Neutral friend that can only be found on Sakurajima Island. Usually there will be some wandering around the Sakura Dance Shrine in the cherry blossom forest at -619,224. These Friends are usually lvl 45+, so you must be well prepared for battle.
How to catch Dogen in Palworld
To capture Dogen, you must bring Dark-type Comrades with you. When it comes to this type of Pal, Astegon is the best of the best. You can also add Bellanoir, Blazehowl Noct and Frostallion Noct to the team.
When it comes to equipment, make sure you have good armor. If you don’t have Plastic Armor, Then at least try crafting Pale Metal Armor to keep yourself safe. Hyper Shield would also be a great addition to your protection.
I prefer to use the Assault Rifle when hunting individual Buddies, but it’s a good idea to keep a Rocket Launcher or a Meteor launcher (or both) on you just in case you end up in danger.
How to breed Dogen in Palworld
If you don’t want to run around a forest trying to find one, you can also breed Dogen in Palworld. To do this, you need to set up a Breeding Farm and bake a Cake. Fortunately, Cake only requires:
- Red Berries x 8
- eggs x 8
- milk x 7
- flour x 5
- honey x 2
To hatch Dogen, you will need to breed Cruise with soot watcher. Croajiro is pretty easy to find, but I like to farm this Pal at -463,132 in the Mushroom Wetland, while you can farm Sootsteer in the area around the Graveyard at –666.26.
All Dogen Skills in Palworld
Dogen is a very useful friend to have on your team and base. When you have it on your team, you can use Dogen’s Partner Skill Homeward Prayer to teleport to the nearest base, just like you can with the Homeward Thundercloud (except you don’t have to craft anything).
This Ability goes on cooldown for 1000 seconds. It also doesn’t work when you’re overpowered in a Dungeon, so keep that in mind. When it comes to Workability, Dogen has:
- Handiwork lvl3
- Lumbering lv2
- Transportation lv2
- Collection lv2
- Production of Medicine lv1
With this collection of abilities, Dogen is a great Friend to have at the base, especially if you’re looking for a jack of all trades.
