How to fix the Sawpit in Manor Lords
If you built a Sawmill in Manor Lords and find that nothing happens with it, first of all, make sure you have families/workers assigned to it. This ensures that the citizens of your growing dominion stay active and on task. You can click on a completed Sawpit to bring up the building's sub-menu where you select tasks for humans and livestock.
If you still find that your Sawpit is not producing boards, the problem may be that you don't have a Bull assigned to it. Oxen are your main means of transporting heavy goods and resources, namely wood.

Scroll to 'Advanced'and here you can assign cattle to the Sawmill. If you're only starting one Bull, you may want to wait until you've acquired another. Otherwise, assigning the only Bull you have to it can stop building other structures that need wood.
You can get more livestock by placing a trade with a Livestock Trading Postor putting a Livestock Order at your Attachment post(s). Note that you can only do the latter once in a season.
