Scoring Triple Kills with any weapon class in MW3 is quite difficult. For shotguns, it can be almost impossible if you don't know the right way and mindset to tackle the challenge.
Best way to get Triple Kills with Shotguns in MW3 Season 3
For clarity, a Triple Kill is when you score three Operator kills within seconds of each other; it does no means you have to get three kills at once. Regardless, for a shotgun, this is a difficult task unless all of your enemies decide to band together. This is actually the best case scenario, but don't expect it to be a common occurrence in normal gameplay. Fortunately, MW3 supports maps and game modes that encourage this type of primal herd behavior that you can abuse to complete this annoying challenge.
First, you will need to use a Recommended shotgun for this challenge count. me high recommend using the KV Broadside as your weapon of choice because it has access to an Aftermarket Part that makes this challenge easier than normal. Make sure to equip the JAK Jawbreaker attachment to your KV Broadside and, for all other attachments, prioritize ADS Speed to zero in targets quickly.
You need your enemies to gang up so you can score quick kills, back to back, so pick the Hardpoint or Headquarters game modes as you prepare to enter a game. You can play on Core or Hardcore for that, but Hardcore is easier because of the lower TTK (Time to Kill). The final preparation step is to make sure you play on a very small map. Of course, Shipping is the gold standard here, but maps like Das Haus and meat there are great alternatives.
Your goal is to score quick kills, so as much as I despise camping, I recommend that you find a nice isolated corner to camp, near the objective, and wait for enemies to run by. It won't be a glamorous job, but at least you'll still be playing the target.

Despite all the prep work, in the end you'll still need to be quick on the trigger finger and very accurate. aim head shots with the KV Broadside, because the TTK is extremely fast, which favors your aim. It may take you some time to complete because this goal is always painful, but this is the best way to go about it. If you have problems with aim, then remove the Aftermarket part and fit a high capacity magazine to your KV Broadside instead. All other recommendations still apply. Follow my advice, and you'll have this challenge done in no time.
