How to get a boat in Roblox Fisch
So, you’re ready to leave the starting island in Roblox Fisch and explore the great water beyond? Well, first – you’ll need a boat! But here’s the catch: Boats only unlock after you complete the tutorials. It’s one of those things the game doesn’t explain, so if you tried talking to the Shipbuilder and nothing happened, it’s because you haven’t finished those pesky opening quests yet!
How to buy your first boat in Fisch on Roblox
Step 1: Complete the tutorials
To even think about sailing the open seas of Fisch’s experience, you have to finish the tutorials that start with talking to Pierre. This is one of those moments where it feels like the game is trying your patience, especially since no instructions appear after that initial quest sign. Stick with it though – completing these is the only way to get your first boat!
Pierre is the tutorial NPC, and you’ll find him right next to the docks on the starting island (Moosewood). When you load Fisch for the first time, you will see a line connecting your avatar to Pierre. Talk to him, and he’ll ask you to catch three fish so you can get the hang of the game.
After that, go back to Pierre and finish the second fishing quest. This one asks you to sell enough fish to earn C$500 and buy your first fishing rod from the merchant (located up the ramp next to Pierre). The cheapest rod is 300C$.
Step 2: Buy your first boat
Once you’re done, it’s time to visit the Shipbuilder, he’s also right next to the docks. You won’t even be able to talk to him until you finish the tutorial, so don’t bother rushing there right away.
Upon unlocking the conversation, you’ll discover that baby’s first boat, aka the Rowboat, costs a cool C$700. It’s not much, but when you’re just starting out, it sure feels like you’re going to throw every coin.
Step 3: Launch your boat
Once you’ve handed over your hard earned money to the Shipbuilder and purchased the Rowboat, scroll up the boat list to find your boat and hit that Spawn button. Your new boat should appear in the middle of the two piers, ready to sail. Jump in and start exploring to catch all the fish in Fisch!
Oh, and just a heads up – you can’t swim your way to other islands. Trust me, I tried, and all I got was a quick trip to Drown City and a hole in my wallet (you lose money when you’re passed out).
