Cloth is an important resource as it is used for many different crafts in The Planet Craftsman. If you're playing Planet Crafter and looking to get your hands on some Fabric, I've got just the guide for you.
Where to get Cloth in The Planet Crafter
While Cloth is not a resource you need to advance your Terraforming efforts, it is valuable for other useful things in your base. As such, getting your hands on Fabric is still pretty important, especially early on. The resource is not located in any specific location. Instead, it is mostly found through looting accidental shipwrecks and abandoned buildings scattered around the planet. You can also sometimes find some in storage boxes
Since there are only so many wrecks and structures, you should assume that Cloth is finite, which means you don't want to waste it on non-essential crafts like decorations, at least not early on. Instead, I highly recommend you use it to build yourself up a Water Filter and Air Filterlike these two pieces of equipment dramatically improve your survivability while exploring beyond the boundaries of your base. Both water and air are scarce in the early game of The Planet Crafter, so you need to make sure both of these gauges never get close to empty.

How to get infinite Cloth in The Planet Crafter
Cloth is a limited resource in the early game of The Planet Crafter, but this limitation can be overcome advancing your Terraforming stage. Specifically, when you start seeing Insects on the planet, you will be able to create silk which can be broken and allow you to do Cloth, endlessly. This is quite late in the Terraforming process, so be careful not to waste any Cloth you acquire up to this point.
There may also be additional methods of obtaining Cloth as you continue to progress, but I'm not sure if there are yet. I will update this guide for you as I learn more.
