How to Get River Styx Effects in Fortnite
To activate the River Styx Effect, you must go to The Underworld and to swim in the river Styx. When you get ashore, you’ll notice the skulls floating around you. That is the indicator that the effect is on. Shoot an opposing player wearing the Styx Effect and you will complete the King Midas quest.

To find the Styx River, you must go to the northwestern part of the map, near The Underworld area. The whole area is surrounded by a river with an eerie green color. Any water around the Underworld area with that green tint can give you the River Styx effect.
How to Activate River Styx Effects in Fortnite
Now that you’ve found Styx River, it’s time to activate its effect. To get the River Styx Effect, simple swim in the green-watered river and go out to the shore. You will notice that your character is surrounded by three green, floating skulls. That is the indicator on which the effect is. All you have to do is dimagine another player while that worked for you, and you finished that part of the quest of King Midas. Remember, try do not use the fast break ability while covered with River Styx Effect, otherwise you will lose it, and you will have to dip in the river again.
