Roblox players love to share their gameplay with Discord users. While the platform shows that you are playing Roblox, it does not specify the exact game you are in on the status bar. Luckily, I figured out a workaround to get Discord to show what Roblox game you’re playing.
How to Show Your Current Roblox Game on Discord
In order for Discord to show what Roblox game you are playing, you need to install an application called Premid. If you don’t know, Premid allows users to display their current activities as part of their “now playing” status including the Roblox games you play. Here is a detailed summary of the steps you need to follow:
Step 1: Install the Premid application
Before proceeding, it is important to note that this method only works for systems running Windows 7 or higher, macOS 10.11 or higher, or a compatible Linux distribution. As a result, don’t bother to complete these steps on your mobile, PS5 or Xbox console.
To download and install Premid, go to their official website and simply follow the instructions displayed on the screen. The entire installation process takes approximately less than five minutes. Also, be sure to install the Premid extension from the Chrome Web Store by clicking the Add to Chrome button.
Step 2: Add the Roblox integration
After installing the Premid app and its extension, it’s time to add the Roblox integration. To do this, go to the link provided and click the ‘Add presence’ button. This feature not only supports Roblox games, but also shows your activity in Discord if you browse the developer forums.
Step 3: Launch any Roblox game using a Web browser
The final step for Discord to show what Roblox game you’re playing is by launching any experience from the browser. First of all, you need to log into your Roblox account in the browser and search for the experience you want to play. Finally, press the Play button and the Discord will start sharing your Roblox activity.
