Power Cell is a new material that you can use to power your vehicles in the LEGO Fortnite v29.10 update. However, you will need to create this material first, which is why I put together this guide to help you make Power Cells in LEGO Fortnite.
How to create the Power Cell recipe in LEGO Fortnite
Before you collect ingredients to create a Power Cell in LEGO Fortnite, you will first need to unlock its recipe. The only way to do this is by creating a compost bin by collecting 5x Wood Planks, 2x Soil, 1x Sand, and 3x Fertilizers. Once you have all the materials, you can make a Compost from the build menu and use it to craft Biomass by depositing meat.
By following these instructions carefully, the Power Cell recipe will eventually unlock in the Crafting Bench. However, it’s worth noting that you’ll also need to upgrade your Crafting Bench to build this advanced material.
Once the Power Cell recipe appears in the Crafting Bench menu, you can craft it using the following materials:
- 50x Biomass: Get this material from the Compost Bin
- 6x Glass: Deposit 15x Brightcore, 35x Obsidian Slabs and 3x Blast Cores into a Metal Melter to get Glass.

How to use Power Cell in LEGO Fortnite
As mentioned before, the Power Cell is used to power vehicles in LEGO Fortnite. However, you cannot directly use it in the game. Instead, you will need place a Power Center on your vehicle base, which essentially boasts the abilities to use a Power Cell. A small Power Center can be created using 3x Granite and 2x Rope.
Once you have a Power Cell in your inventory, stand near your vehicle and press the interaction button to deposit it into the Power Center.
