Union Level is the equivalent of your Wuthering Waves account level, which you need to level up to unlock progress blockers and increase your SOL3 Phase, which will allow you to increase your Resonator levels and unlock more difficult content. Here are all the ways you can farm Union EXP to progress quickly in WuWa.
How to farm Union EXP in Wuthering Waves
Searches
You can get a lot of Union EXP for free by completing Quests. You can trigger Quests by talking to NPCs with a blue exclamation mark on their heads or by checking your Quest Menu for any new entries. Completing any Quest will reward you with a ton of Union EXP. Companion Stories are a bit long but will give you the highest amount of EXP.
Spend Wave Plates
Any activity that costs Wave Plates (Resin/Energy) will reward you with Union EXP proportional to the amount of Wave Plates spent. The evidence is 300 Union EXP for every 40 Wave Plates you spend The above image illustrates the location of the Simulation Training site in Jinzhou, but the reward is not limited to this area. Anything that costs Wave Plates, whether crafting, collecting rewards from weekly bosses, etc., will always reward you with a fixed amount of Union EXP.
Since Wave Plates can only be replenished by waiting (one Wave Plate recovered every six real-time minutes) or by spending Astrites, I encourage you to always use your Wave Plates whenever possible.
Milestones
Open the Guidebook via the Terminal or the icon at the top right of the screen, then go to the Milestones section pictured above. In the early game, there will be plenty of Milestones available for you to complete, some of which will reward you with a sizable chunk of Union EXP.
Activity (journals)
Open the Guidebook via the Terminal or the icon at the top right of the screen, then go to the Activity page to find a list of annoying journals that will plague you for the rest of your WuWa journey. On the bright side, reaching the Acitivy Point milestones will reward you with a total of 2,000 Union EXP per day. Don’t forget to manually claim them before the daily server reset, or they will not be credited to your account.
