How to register for FFXIV Dawntrail Early Access

It’s that time again, Warriors of Light! Final Fantasy XIV’s Dawntrail is fast approaching, and soon it will be time to prepare your accounts for Early Access if you pre-ordered the expansion. If you’re wondering how to make sure you’re all set for your trip to Tural, here’s our handy guide on how to sign up for FFXIV Dawntrail Early Access.

How does Early Access work for FFXIV Dawntrail?

Just like previous expansions in Final Fantasy XIV, Dawntrail will also have its own Early Access period in which players who pre-ordered any edition of the expansion Dawntrail can enjoy the new content already June 28 at 2 am (PDT)a full weekend before the official release on July 2nd.

Therefore, if you want to have the opportunity of Early Access to the latest FFXIV expansion, you will first need to pre-order one of the three different versions of Dawntrail, which include:

  • Standard Edition – USD 39.99
  • Digital Collector’s Edition – USD 59.99
  • Collector’s Edition (physical merchandise included) – USD 215.99

In addition to Early Access, pre-ordering any edition will also get you two in-game bonus items: a Wind-Up Zidane prop and a set of Azeyma’s Earrings, which provide a 30% EXP boost for any job (including the two new ones from Dawntrail ). ones) up to Level 90. If you opt for the Digital or Full Collector, you’ll also get three additional in-game items on top of that, which include:

  • Arch mountain
  • Wind-Up Garnet helper
  • Chocobo Brush (for Pictomancer)

Regardless of which version you choose, be aware that in order to fully engage with the content provided in Dawntrail, you must first complete the Main Scenario events of the Endwalker expansion.

How to set up your FFXIV account for Dawntrail Early Access

While those who pre-ordered FFXIV’s Dawntrail for both A PlayStation or Xbox console is already ready to go for Early Accessif you’re playing the game on PC, there are a few extra steps you’ll need to take to make sure your account is ready.

According to the announcement on The LodestoneFFXIV players on PC who pre-ordered Dawntrail on the Square Enix Store should keep an eye on their email inboxes, immediately after receiving email confirmation for your purchase of the expansion itself, an additional email will follow with a special bonus code. that must be registered by Station Mog.

If you haven’t received an email yet, Square Enix will start sending emails Monday, June 24th which contain the bonus code along with instructions on how to register it.

Once you’ve received your code, go to Mog Station and look for a button on the Service Account Dashboard page that says ‘Enter Pre-Order Bonus Code’. If you don’t see it yet, this button should appear on the panel around the Early Access launch. Alternatively, the “Enter Item Code” button, which requires a 20-digit code, should work as well.
