How to successfully run Zoo in BitLife

Apart from running a museum or any business, one of the best ways to earn a lot of money is by running a zoo in BitLife. So, if you just bought the BitLife Zoo Expansion Pack and want to manage Zoo successfully, here is a detailed guide.

How to open Zoo in BitLife

Similar to running a Secret Agent office, managing a Zoo is a premium feature in BitLife. So, please buy the Zoo Expansion DLC from the play store for $5 to access all the content related to the Zoo. Remember, the Zoo Expansion Pack is completely different from the exotic pet store feature that is available as part of the Bitizen membership that allows users to keep rare pets like iguanas or turtles in their homes.

Once you’ve bought the DLC, the next step is to have a lot of money, usually in the range of $1 to $3 million, to open a Zoo. The best way to accumulate this amount of money very early in one’s career is to either be born into a Royal Family or pursue high-paying careers such as athletes, politicians, movie stars or doctors. Follow whatever path you like and earn the prescribed amount as fast as possible. I personally suggest going the Royal Family route because it’s fast, and you get a lot of money after turning 18.

After accumulating the prescribed amount of money, go to the Activities tab and click on the Zoo option to buy a piece of land and open a Zoo in BitLife.

6 Tips and Tricks for Running a Zoo in BitLife

After playing the DLC for hours and running multiple zoos, I’ve come up with the tips and tricks below. Implement the following strategies in your game to become the best zoo owner in BitLife and collect all the profits.

Admission Fee Structure

I know your main goal is to make a lot of money with Zoo, but that doesn’t mean you can raise the entrance fee directly to the maximum available value at the beginning and charge a ridiculous amount from the customer. Instead, start with something around $10 and slowly increase the rate as you add more pets or residents to the base. I recommend adding $2 each time you have a new animal or $5 when you open a new resident to your old entry fee. Remember, overpricing will bring bad reputation to your shrine and lead to your downfall.

Variety of Animals

Like real life, your Zoo in BitLife will only be famous if you have a variety of animals. So, put on your reading glasses and get ready to read through the Trading Post Catalog, which contains dozens of new animals available for purchase or trading from the market.

When shopping, make sure you choose unique animals that are not part of your current zoo and have a very high popularity. Such animals are usually quite expensive. However, you need to spend and invest to get these animals to make your Zoo more popular and get more visitors. During my run, I got a pair of Motmot that were in high demand and cost a lot of money. But that investment increased my overall profits and visitors because of the insane popularity of the birds.

Baby Animals

During my campaign, I found that there was a huge increase in the number of visitors whenever there was a newborn baby in my Zoo. I guess like real life, people also love to see baby animals. So, start breeding as soon as you open the park. My suggestion would be to have at least one baby animal every year to keep the visitors flowing and increase profits.

Population Expansion

Instead of spreading randomly, try to develop the Zoo only if you feel that the profits have hit a ceiling and there has been no growth in income for the last few years. The main reason for this is that expanding the area requires a lot of money, because you have to clean, introduce a new animal and assign workers. So, only go for expansion if you have a spare amount of $1 or more million dollars in your budget.

Additional Attractions

The final thing that you should definitely look at is the additional attractions in the park. Click the Attractions button from the list and build additional amenities for your visitors. Instead of building random activity stands, read the comments left by your old visitors and install attractions that have a lot of demand. For example, most of my past visitors actually wanted a Pollen Garden, and I made one in my park. Immediately, I saw an increase in the number of old visitors and new ones.

Solving Your Zoo’s Problems

Every day, one or more problems will appear in your Zoo. Solve these problems immediately without delay. For example, if one of your animals is sick, call the doctor immediately to treat the animal. If it is a severe case, euthanize the animal to put it out of misery and use the funds allocated for the animal for other purposes.
