If you are looking for a game with romantic options such as choosing a partner for your hero, then unfortunately Eiyuden Chronicle: One Hundred Heroes may not be the game for you. The game doesn't have those classic comfort options like buying gifts from characters, going on dates, or building relationships through dialogue choices.

However, if you are happy with a game with a great plot and a lot of excellent characters and relationships built into the story, Eiyuden Chronicle: One Hundred Heroes can still be a great choice for you. As the game name suggests, you recruit a long list of companions as you play and many of the casual conversations you have are really lovely.
