While everyone was waiting for Trailblazer Stelle and Caleb to get their own Trails, March 7th is a pleasant surprise. Learning swordsmanship from Yunli and Yanqing, March 7 becomes a sword-wielding female martial artist in a future Honkai: Star Rail update.
HSR March 7th gets a new element and Path
Now that Penacony is closing its story at update 2.3, fans are eager to know more about the upcoming journey, which appears to be the Xianzhou—though not the Luofu—related. New five-star characters Yunli (Physics/Destruction) and Jiaoqiu (Fire/Nectarity) have already been revealed, but Hoyoverse hasn’t stopped its usual character announcements there.
In a recent post, they revealed a new design for March 7, along with a story screen as its description.
As you can see, it’s a completely new outfit and weapon change. The new form of March 7 is also tagged with the imaginary and Hunt symbols, which controls for most of the Luofu residents. And by that, we meant a fusion of four-star Dan Heng (Hunting) and Imbibitor Lunae (Imagination), the Xianzhou mascot himself. Maybe his shapes are what inspired March?
It’s also important to note that this new March 7 is still a four-star. In fact, since the devs mention how the Path “unlocks”, we could be looking at the same character. Much like Stelle/Caleb, her Eidolons might be separate, though, but that’s all speculation for now.
How to get the new route from March 7th in Honkai Star Rail
To get the new Path from March 7th, players will only have to participate in an “event”. No details about it have been released. Fortunately, events in Honkai Star Rail never expire. Even if you somehow miss it in a future update, you will be able to play it in the Convention Memory.
