To unlock the special rooms with rewards in Miasma Chronicles, you need to enter the three-digit codes using the keyboard. The code is usually hidden in plain sight, usually near the locked area. For example, one clue is how many times a light flickers on an old panel on the left with # symbols. Each area in Miasma Chronicles has a locked room with special items such as rare weapons, XP points, health potions and more. The rewards are very useful, especially if you play on a higher difficulty and could do with some extra help. I've been using the shotgun I found in Gator Zone for a very long time and it's made my gameplay a lot more fun. Solving puzzles is part of the post-apocalyptic experience, but shooting is still the primary solution to your problems.
