Hot from the Nintendo -Switch 2 straight, the company released a Document Confirming which games have problems with back matching. It has been known for some time that the new system will support backward compatibility although some titles have problems. Every game that has a problem is explored at least.
In the document divided by Nintendo, none of the Rockstar Games titles available on Nintendo switch are affected. This means that you are able to play all of the first day on the device without problems.
The list of Rockstar Games titles on the Nintendo Switch to date includes Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, Red Dead Redemption and La Noire. There will not be much improvement except for a more stable frame rate, as updates require developers to make new versions.

This is great news for Rockstar fans who enjoy playing these titles. Although it is unknown whether Rockstar will bring their games to the switch 2. Nintendo’s new hardware has demand games such as Cyberpunk 2077 operating at 40fps do GTA V port is feasible. The same might even say about Red Dead Redemption 2, which is said to have come to Switch 2 and even Switch 1.
Rockstar Insider Tez2 said Rockstar has a PORT plans to carry Red Dead Redemption 2 to the Switch by 2019. The Switch Controller Even can be found in the PC version files. Red Dead Redemption 2 was also rated in Brazil for the Nintendo Switch in September 2023.
There was also some work done for GTA+ support on Nintendo Switch. This would allow GTA+ members in current gene consoles to play games like the Noire, the GTA trilogy and Red Death 1 on a switch. It is unknown whether something will come about this.
