Pathfinder WotR: A Dance of Masks Walkthrough – All options and results
As previously reported, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous – A Dance of Masks isn’t exactly your typical DLC, and not just because there’s a big party between all the monsters: for the first time, fans can finally continue their endgame adventures. pick up where they left off (a long requested DLC feature). Whether you’re stuck or curious about options and outcomes in this expansion, our walkthrough will help you through it.

How to start Pathfinder WotR: Dance of Masks
To start the DLC, enter the Citadel, where you may need to rest for up to three days (click the Rest button and uncheck the ‘rest for the recommended period’ box and select three days at the bottom right). Later, Arsinoe will approach you with an invitation to a festival. Accept and she will give you an Old Coin and send you to Kenabres. From there, you’re good to go.
A Festival for the Commander Walkthrough
Exit the Citadel, taking the Fortress Gates exit, then choose Kenabres (just below the West Sellen River and almost directly south of Drezen, where you came from). When you arrive in Kenabres, enter the Old Town Gates.
A Grand Masquerade Walkthrough
Go east down the steps past the two guards and talk to Beautiful Old Woman next to the well. Hit an Arcana 15 check to uncover faint traces of magic in the cat and gain 13XP. Fork more than 500G and she’ll give you the cat (lucky you – literally, like you control the Feline Follower buff now in your list, you will see that it is supposed to give you good luck).
Go west to Ichol and Beesa passionate couple started helping with the festivities and choose whatever flag you like (it just depends on preference).
Continue west, down to the parties. Don’t wait in line just yet or you’ll miss out on some fun. Instead, continue west and talk to the Wizard Illusionist, who will perform a play with his illusions (choose whatever you want) if you pay him 150G. Later, some guards will detect cheats.

Go back to the lower area where the party line starts (you’ll know you’re there if you see lots of flags and fireworks and people standing around). Your choices here are just for fun, so don’t worry about the results and choose what sounds best to you. Shortly afterwards a Herald will appear and greet you as the Knight Commander. Pass a Bluff 44 check to earn 1728XP.
Enter the main square to discover a cheat “Commander”. No matter what you go, he will be kicked off the stage. Give Rovus the Old Coin and he will tell you that he is worried about this trickster, after which Drimo will invite you to the Echo of Fury Arena (you will have no choice).
Accept the first battle, which should be a piece of cake. Afterwards, Zuset will greet you, before randomly pitting you against a pair of dragons. These are much scarier than they look and should also go down without a fuss (but be aware of Arzov’s long list of immunities just in case).
Later, you’ll learn that Zuset is basically The Maven of Path of Exile (ie he enjoys watching powerful entities fight it out).

Have fun at the festival
This sub quest sees you take part in various activities on the Square. Here are some of the ones you will need to complete it:
- Look left (west) from the entrance to Kenabres Square to participate in the Dart Competition (Mobility check that gives 4XP).
- On the west side of the center of the map you will find a training dummy/dummy on the lower level. Hit it.
- On the northwest side of the map, look for some people dancing between fireworks on carpets and prove your musical skill to them.
- Even further northwest, look for five guards lined up together to engage in a push-up contest (requires Athletics 28 check; gives 4XP).
- On the east side of the square center, you can dance.

Thieves in the City walk
Go to the center of the Kenabres square to meet an NPC who discovered a robbery. (This search will be updated as soon as possible!)
Close Inspection walk
Using your map, locate and talk to Regill, who will prompt an inspection in the town guard. Follow him a little east, where you’ll talk to Corporal Sweeps. Pass the Perception check to find that the structure is solid (but there are people below). Finish your interrogation, then follow Regill southeast (check your map for his sign) to meet up with Sergeant Wohf.
Pass the Perception 40 check to find that the gate is strong but is controlled by an internal mechanism. Continue your questing, then return to the performance area (check your map) and talk to Liwa.
Clearing Perception 36 will reveal that the soldiers are strategically placed, earning you 324XP.
Following this, Regill will admit that the security in the area is formidable and dismiss his concerns, completing the quest.
Overcoming Fears walk
After locating Arueshalae using your map and agreeing to help her overcome her social anxiety, head a little north to where the tables are and speak to the townspeople on her behalf, only to find yourself in the middle of an argument with “Camellia.”
Open your map now and go to the northeast point of interest (marked in light blue) where Arushalae will chat with the Arueshales. If you reveal her, it will be fine.
