What started as a joke may now become a reality, as Fisch’s developers are seriously thinking of adding pets as a core function to their game. Yes, this idea to add pets was shared as a ballot type of Fisch’s main developerNoa on their ad channel. Immediately, Nate, Fisch’s owner, shared his opinion with another message about adding the feature to the game. So, what is the PET function in Fisch, and is it payable (P2W) function like other pet games on the Roblox platform?
To date, Noah’s initial messages and Nate have only said they think of adding a pet that will provide various toads/features as an increased speed or good luck to the players and will also play the role of collecting bait on behalf of the players. Both are excellent features that will only improve Fisch’s core game mechanics except to act as a beautiful partner to the players. Although the pets will undoubtedly be interesting mechanics, the way these will be acquired/obtained is the central question of doubt. If pets are obtained by unique searches or missions, then there will be no problem, as they will act only as additional accessories or spells. But, if they are only acquired by the shop by Robux, then Fisch would become a P2W title. Why? Instead of enjoying the grinder of completion Increased STAT acceleration. Also the Fisch -Trade Economy will fall as P2W players will flood the market with more amounts of fish, decreasing the value of secret or mythical significantly.
I feel that the developers have to think twice or even three times about the method by which the pets must be acquired in Fisch, because the game is loved by millions of players mainly because of its monetary Music Pass Or Cosmetic skins as Gamepasses and typically remained very far from the predatory practices of other leading developers who force young Roblox players to Pass Robux progress in their games. So, introducing such functions will only depart from the existing F2P if the economy changes or becomes very ground.
