Summoners War – Best Fusion Monsters

Once you've made it through the early stages of turn-based strategy MMO Summoners War, you'll have plenty of options when putting together your team. It's important to choose the best fusion monster for each occasion, so read about which to choose and when.

What are the best Fusion Monsters in Summoners War?

It's impossible to say that one particular Fusion Monster is “best” in Summoners War, as different monsters shine in specific sections of the game. This can also depend on your playstyle, preference, and how you build your team, so take these as guidelines rather than golden rules. If you can pick your choice and pick just one, I would Sigmaris as a good all-rounder. Eventually, though, you'll want to collect them all.

Dark Ifrit (Veromos)

Best for: Giant and Dragon teams, TOA (normal and hard)

While Veremos is a solid choice for Giant and Dragon teams, as well as Trial of Ascension, you're now better off going with Sigmaris (below) in all of these fights. Veremos can also be used to good effect to counter teams using Jeanne during Sieges.

Fire Lightning Emperor (Baleygr)

Best for: Rift, Labyrinth (wind and fire bosses)

Baleygr is one of the weaker Fusion monsters with limited appeal. Good in parts of the Labyrinth and good at the endgame for Rift runs.

Wind Valkyrie (Katarina)

Best for: Guild Wars (offense), Arena, Labyrinth (water boss)

One of the weaker Fusion Monsters, with limited utility. Its S3 is too random to be consistently reliable, which means other options are always more reliable. It pairs well with Jamire if you're lucky enough to pull it off.

Fire Panda (Xiong Fei)

Best for: Tanking in raids, Labyrinth (wind boss), Dark Rift

Other than the wind boss in the Labyrinth, and maybe the Dark Rift, there are no areas where your panda is the best choice. Xiong Fei will always be a good defensive tank monster and a solid debuffer but that's not enough to focus resources on it.

Light Paladin (Jeanne)

Best for: Guild Wars (defense), Siege (defense), Arena (defense), TOA (normal and hard)

Jeanne is a good crown control unit but lost a lot of love since he was nerfed. It is a popular option on defensive teams in all forms of PVP and is a solid option when fighting through Trial of Ascension.

Water Phoenix (Sigmaris)

Best for: Giant and Dragon teams, TOA (normal and hard), Labyrinth (fire boss), Fire Rift

Excellent DPS with strong Leadership. Its HP damage scales, making strong hits against single tough units. Solid in Guild Wars offense and Arena if you don't have water based DPS, as its Freeze ability is a powerful weapon.
