After releasing the teaser earlier this month, LSPlash has now finally announced a release date for their upcoming game Doors Floor 2: The Mines with a kickass trailer that shows off a lot of exciting gameplay, including the highly anticipated drivable charter feature!
Starting from 30 August 2024, you can enjoy playing Doors Floor 2: The Mines on the Roblox platform. It is a major relief for the die-hard fans of the game as the developers teased the development of this game during almost two yearswhich actually feels like an eternity when you see the releases of other Roblox Games these days.
If you don’t know what Roblox Doors Floor 2: The Mines is, it’s actually the second episode in the popular Doors series, where the main goal is to avoid monsters and explore all the Doors to reach the exit. From the trailer, the upcoming Doors: Floor 2 The Mines also follows the same formula with a different theme, where the players are actually trapped inside an abandoned Mine instead of the Hotel as shown in Part 1 and have to get out by exploring the Mine section, solve puzzles alone or with his friends escaping from all the hidden dangers in the underground area.
My favorite part of the trailer was the showing of the cart and hiding features in the game. After watching the teaser earlier this month, I thought the cart would be a non-interactive object and was included to scale the immersive value. But that has completely changed, as the new release trailer showed players riding on it to travel from section to section, providing a whole new set of opportunities for players to avoid monsters and travel within sections instead of walking. The stealth mechanics also look much more polished than the first part in terms of interaction, as there were several bugs in the past that prevented players from hiding at the right time in the original game.
Speaking of the monsters, only a few glimpses of two creatures were shown in the trailer. The first looked similar to the famous Figure creature, and the other looked like an Ambush creature. We are curious to know if they are the updated versions of the same animals or completely new creatures. I hope they are new creatures; otherwise, it will be the general gameplay of Doors in a different setting.
