The Christmas event in Universal Time has lots of fun, festive changes and events for players to enjoy. This guide will teach you everything new in the event that you can do, including how to get candy, Santa’s location, get to the new area and more.
Universal Time Christmas Event Guide
In the Christmas event, you have to collect candies and get the event coin using those candies to buy the new skins in the update.
How to get Candies
To get candies, you have to wait for the gifts to start spawning and then collect them to get candies. These gifts appear across the map every eight minutes, so collecting them isn’t that difficult. These gifts have the following chances to drop the candies:
- 1 Candy: 70%
- 2 Candies: 25%
- 3 Candies: 5%
Additionally, two types of candies can drop Peppermint (91%) and Candy cane (9%).
Place of Santa Claus
To exchange the candies for the event coin, you must exchange them with Santa. Santa is located behind a building near the main square where you find most of the NPCs in the game. Go behind the building in the picture above, and when you see him, talk to him to convert your candies into the event currency to get your favorite event skins.
How to get to the Ice Fortress in Universal Time
There is also a new location, and to get there, you just have to find the new NPC named Bawx, standing where at the main square. Go to him and talk to him, which will give you the option to teleport to the Ice Fortress. This is also where the new raid boss, the Grimpus, spawns.
How to get the Candy Cutlass in Universal Time
Along with the new event, we have the Candy Cutlass skill, which you can get by talking to Santa and completing his quest. Once you start the quest, you have to kill 20 Hooligans that can be found throughout the game’s map.
Once you’re done with it, look for a Bawx NPC and talk to him to take you to the Ice Fortress. Here, you have to wait for the Grimpus boss to appear and defeat him or deal 10% if others fight him with you.
When you’re done with everything, go back to Santa to talk to him and claim the Candy Cutlass Blade. Now consume it when you are stationary to get the Candy Cutlass.
