What does Dawnbringer do in King Arthur Legion IX?
You’ll find plenty of gear to improve your heroes as you fight your way through the turn-based strategy RPG King Arthur: Legion IX. However, it’s not always obvious, so what does Dawnbringer do in King Arthur: Legion IX?
How to get Dawnbringer in King Arthur Legion IX (Map)
Dawnbringer is an encounter you can encounter during The Trader quest in King Arthur: Legion IX. It can be found in the cemetery sticking out of the ground, sticking out of a grave. It has an exclamation point above it and if you click it, Sir Edgar’s ghost will appear.
Sir Edgar will tell you that you can only claim the sword, Dawnbringer, if you answer his riddle. Four more ghosts will appear, one after the other, if you tell him you want to tackle the puzzle. Each ghost that appears will give you one line; from these, you must deduce which of the knights is the oldest. They tell you the following:
- Harold – is older than Albert
- Albert – Duncan is younger
- Edgar – the same day as Edmund
- Edmond – younger than Alberto
- Duncan – younger than Edgar
From this, you can figure that out Harold is the oldest. Give this answer to Edgar, and he will tell you that you are worthy of taking the sword.
What does Dawnbringer do in King Arthur Legion IX?
Unfortunately, at the time of writing, Dawnbringer does nothing in King Arthur: Legion IX. It’s a known bug that Neocore developers couldn’t fix before release. As of the May 10 patch, Dawnbringer was still bugged.
According to the official King Arthur: Legion IX Discord server, the developers are looking at a bug where successfully solving the puzzle does not result in the weapon. However, the response also noted that although it is believed to be a weapon, it is not the world’s most important relic so while it should be fixed soon, don’t worry too much if you missed it.
