Where to find the Blunderbuss in Flintlock Siege of Dawn (Location)

The Blunderbuss is one of the guns you can grab for yourself in Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn, and it’s one that offers a very different experience to others you may have encountered on your journey thus far. All it takes for you to find and use this monster of a weapon for yourself is a short side quest that we will guide you through here.

Lost to Battle Walkthrough – Flintlock Siege of Dawn

To start the Lost to Battle side quest, you’ll need to get to the campsite before the Revenant boss fight. Activate the camp if you haven’t already, who will bring your friend base (1) finished, and here you will have to talk to him. He will inform you that he was jumped and attacked by some Coalition deserters, and they made off with their prized Bus. Obviously you can’t let that slide, so you go to dish out some swift and painful justice.

Progress through the gate into town (2), and keep pressing straight ahead. There are a lot of spiders and undead here, so stay on your toes and try not to get outnumbered.

You’ll find a chasm that you’ll have to jump over, and eventually you’ll reach a steep cliff with some ledges on the other side. Be careful not to overestimate your jump here, and go to the nearest ledge. You’ll want to go up and around to find the entrance to the mine to which the deserters fled.

Enter and go down. There will be a rest point at the bottom for you here, so be sure to interact with it, and then rest at it to set your respawn point.

Your enemies in this mine will consist of a few spiders, and quite a few undead. Their numbers in these tight spaces can leave you quickly overwhelmed, so don’t stay in one place for too long. Keep moving through the mine and make sure you collect the Breaching Barrel you will pass on your way, next to a broken elevator.

Use the barrel on the barred path ahead of you, and eventually you’ll come to a large open cave. You’ll hear one of the deserters talking to himself here, and you’ll find them near death in front of yet another blocked passage. Talk to the deserter (2) to receive the Bus stop (which will somehow… disappear?), and then locates the Breaching Barrel (1)which is on the back left side of the room.

Using the breaking barrel will causing a horde of undead to rush in, which actually make up their own boss health bar. This isn’t a hard fight by any means, but you have to stay on the move at all times. If the horde rushes you, it’s probably over. Fortunately, the Blunderbuss excels in situations like thisso use it liberally and fill the undead with plenty of buckshot.

Once they are dealt with, you are free to leave the mine and go back to Base. You can fast travel there, or you can try out that new toy of yours on all those nasty critters on the way back. Talk to him to end the questand don’t worry: he won’t actually accept the Buster back.

The Blunderbuss is best used in situations involving a large amount of enemies, as it has a wide effect, but lower overall damage. It also has a much longer time to fire, which means it’s not great at gun parry either.
