The Wasteland Warriors have taken over the map in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 introducing several new items including a vehicle. The Battle Bus is the new car, similar to the Armored Battle Bus from previous chapters. Here’s how to find and use this vehicle in the game.
How to find the Military Bus in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3
At the start of each match in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3, you’ll notice that some bosses aren’t at their designated lairs, and are instead patrolling the map in a convoy. This is easy to spot by checking the map to see the location for each Medallion. The War Bus follows the boss convoys, protecting the vehicle all the way. Follow the convoy to see the path it follows. You can jump right on the battle bus, or get some good loot from a nearby location before engaging the AI forces.
I like to jump off the Battle Bus at the exact moment given to land right on the Battle Bus. This makes it easy to take out the NPCs controlling the War Bus turrets and follow the boss’s convoy. Engage the boss directly from the Military Bus to cause massive damage to their convoy. The only downside to this strategy is that you won’t have enough time to get shields and other consumables.
How to shoot from a Military Bus in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3
The Military Bus comes with two turrets on the front and rear side of the vehicle. Take control of the turrets by eliminating the NPCs and use them to shoot opponents.
The turrets on top of the Military Bus are grenade launchers that deal massive explosive damage to players and structures. You can dismount from the turret quickly and enter the vehicle whenever the opponent fires at you. Remember that the turrets have slow fire, so use it tactically to force players out of their buildings and structures.
