The developers at Sledgehammer Games have brought the new Retro Warfare event to Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, which also comes with a pixel art-themed game mode, map and characters. The event runs from June 26th to July 3rd, during which you can unlock free rewards by completing simple challenges.
All MW3 & Warzone – Season 4 Retro Warfare event rewards
The Retro Warfare event features a variety of cosmetics including logos, business cards, 2XP tokens, a weapon cam and a weapon sketch. To unlock these rewards, you must achieve XP milestones simply by playing Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone. Below I have listed all the items available and how much XP it takes to unlock them.

You can check out all the cosmetics featured in the Retro Warfare event in the images above. At first glance, all these rewards look good, and are strongly inspired by the 8-bit theme that the developers are aiming for.
I would like to get my hands on the Game Over cam and see if it is something I can use on my weapons. The Bit Blaster weapon blueprint for the Bruen MK9 LMG looks pretty good and has a good set of attachments; just equip a suppressor on it and you’re ready for Warzone.
The event lasts for seven days, so you have plenty of time to grind the game and earn XP to unlock the rewards of the Retro Warfare event. For those who purchased the 8-Bit Blitz pack from the store, be sure to equip one of the four featured skins (Ghost, Price, Soap, or Farah) in the tracker pack to get a 5000 XP bonus every match that in turn will speed up your challenge progress.
