The festive cheer has returned to Disney Dreamlight Valley, and this year’s Christmas event, The Gift of Givingbrings holiday magic in full swing. Running from 18 December to 31 Decemberthis annual celebration always offers exciting activities, but this year you get to build your own Snowman!
How to Build a Snowman in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Step 1: Find the Red Chest
Go out into your Valley and look for a red breast. These spawn randomly, but I found mine right next to it Scrooge’s Store. Once opened, the chest reveals a memory showing a snowman diagram with three boxes of materials needed for construction. These numbers for the materials are all in Roman numerals, but let me save you some trouble.
Step 2: Gather Materials
Here’s what you’ll need for each stage of the snowman:

Step 3: Build the Snowman
Once you have the materials, go to the Frosted Heightswhere you will find a giant snowball waiting for you. Add the items step by step:
- Start with the 50 Snowballs from Box A to form the base.
- Add the materials from Box B to complete the middle section.
- Complete the snowman with the items from Box C, including the Carrot because of its nose!
You have completed Mad Hatter Snowman can be placed anywhere in your Valley to spread festive cheer.
Creating Holiday Gifts in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Crafting is a big part of this event, with several holiday-themed gifts available to craft. Festive Wrapping Paper can be collected from the ground in the square during the event you will need to make these gifts.

Event-specific tasks appear in the Village section from your Dreamlight menu, allowing you to complete party duties for unique rewards. You can only complete these tasks once.

Limited Time Party Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Throughout the event, you can catch Festive Fish in specific biomes, identifiable by their uniqueness red and green ripples. In previous years, players could only catch each festive fish once. This has changed for 2024, as you can now catch them multiple times during the event.

From 25 December to 31 Decembera Seasonal Tree appears within the Dream Castleshining with daily gifts below These gifts contain resources, party furniture, and even exclusive clothing. Simply visit the tree every day to collect your rewards before the event ends.
