Rod progression in Go Fishing might seem trivial at first, but there are so many rods you can skip because of their poor cost/stat ratio. If you don’t do that, you’ll just double or triple the necessary grind for no reason. Go Fishing Land List
The stick statistics progression of sticks in Go Fishing is quite linear, so we lined up the rods within the level list based on their stats compared to other rods in a similar price range. For example, the Spider Rod is a big improvement over the Medusa Rod, although its price isn’t that much higher when you consider that Thunder and Toxic follow.
So, in short, when you decide whether you should throw away your money on the next rod in the progression or keep it and buy some taller rod, check out ours level list above and decide based on its ranking. Of course, if you want to buy all the bars eventually due to completion, then you might as well buy the bars one by one, since you earn enough money to get them.
