How to join the Concord Open Beta

After seeing Concord during the PlayStation State of Play, I couldn’t wait to jump into the beta and play the game. For those who feel the same way, here’s how to play Concord’s open beta.

How to register for the Concord Beta – When is the Concord Open Beta?

Concord’s open beta begins July 18th, 2024and runs until July 21st, 2024. However, those who pre-order any edition of Concord gain an additional four days of open beta early access from July 12th, 2024through on the 14th of July, 2024. Additionally, pre-ordering Concord gets you four additional codes to the early access period, meaning you can bring four friends and fill out an entire squad.

Those who don’t pre-order can simply download and jump into the open beta on July 18, 2024 by downloading it on PC and PlayStation 5. Those who pre-order will receive an early bird code that can be redeemed to download the beta. customer

What to expect from the Concord Open Beta?

My favorite part of Concord’s upcoming beta is how robust it will be. Developer Firewalk Studios confirmed everything 16 Freegunners will be available to try during the open beta. The list includes characters seen during the announcement trailer, such as Haymar, Lennox, Vale, 1-OFF and Star Child, but includes characters not yet seen such as It-Z, Teo, Bazz and more.

Concord’s open beta includes various maps set on different planets, including Freewater, Water Hazard, Star Chamber, and Shock Risk. During the open beta weekend, the fifth map, Bone Mines, will be added to the game as well. Three game modes accompany these maps, which are Trophy Hunt, Cargo Run and Clash Point, as well as a fourth creature added called Area Control.

The open beta for Concord is also confirmed as cross game, which means you can play with your friends regardless of platform. No word has been made on cross-platform saves, but we may get confirmation of that closer to the official launch on August 23, 2024.

Finally, the open beta presents the beginning of the crew of the Northstar through a series of cinematics. Every week, players will be able to see a new cinematic in-game but will get the first one during the beta. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Concord and how the open beta goes. Hope to see you there!
