How to play Endless Mode in Tower Defense X – TDX Endless Mode Tips, Tricks and more!
TDX's biggest update is finally here, bringing the much-anticipated Endless mode to the game. So, if you ever wanted to play Tower Defense X with Infinite setting, here are all the tips and tricks you need to know.
What is Endless Mode in Tower Defense X?
Endless Mode is basically the hardest game mode of Tower Defense X, in which your main goal is to defend your base from an infinite number of waves. You will not encounter any final wave in this game mode, and as a result, the battle continues.
Earlier, Tower Defense X used to have four different game modes – Easy, Medium, Elite and Expert. In these modes, TDX requires you to defend your base from enemies up to certain waves. For example, you will have to defend yourself against 28 non-stop waves full of challenging bosses and earn rewards.

How to start Endless Mode in Tower Defense X
To start Endless mode, simply teleport to any map within Tower Defense X from the map selection menu. Once you are in the game, vote for the Infinite difficulty when the voting starts. If you are playing alone, the match will start immediately, but you will have to wait for the voting to finish if you are playing with other players.
I highly recommend you ask other TDX players to vote for Endless mode in the Roblox chat beforehand because you can't redo the vote once the match starts. Apart from that, the developers advise players to play this mode on easy/simple maps like Apocalypse, Baseplate Toilet, Blox Out and Oil Rig and avoid difficult maps.
How to win Endless Mode in Tower Defense X
Simply put, there is no practical way to beat the Endless mode as it is designed to provide players with an endless stream of challenges. I played this game mode shortly after release and somehow managed to get to wave 55 after seven tries. Additionally, many players have reported that it is almost impossible to defeat the 120th wave, as the Tower Defense X sends an invincible boss, Calamity, to the ground.
Luckily, I was able to find some useful tips and tricks that can help you master the Endless mode. First of all, you can now use a range of new Power-ups in the game, which were introduced expressly for this difficulty. These are special abilities that can save you when you're out of units, especially during close clutch situations.

Here is the list of Power-ups available in Tower Defense X:
- A-10 Strike: Two A-10's will deal massive damage to a selected area.
- AC-130 Support: Deal damage to the first enemy for a total of 45 seconds.
- Air Raid: fighter jets called in to cause damage to the target.
- Raptor Storm: F-22 reports fly-in with insane firepower
- Recon Drone: Scan for stealthy enemies and reveal them for 3 minutes
- Cash box: throws a crash crate at you, earning $1500
- Health Box: Summons a health box, giving 1000 HP instantly.
- Healing Field: Field to heal your towers permanently for 15 seconds.
It's no secret that Towers are an essential part of Tower Defense X because they help you defeat zombies and defend your base. Although there are several towers available in TDX, it is essential to find the best ones for the Endless mode.
Best Tower for Endless mode
I highly recommend unlocking the new one Golden Juggernaut, which is an updated version of the regular Juggernaut. The Golden Juggernaut tower costs a whopping 85,000 gold so you have to save your resources for a long time if you want to get your hands on it.
The unit boasts much higher damage, rate of fire, range and the ability to damage projectiles compared to the regular one. Apart from this, you can also use new Turrets like the Golden Ranger and XWM Turret added in the v2.0.0 update.
I couldn't get past the 30th wave when I played solo. So if you want to grind this mode, I strongly advise to play with a squad to easily beat initial waves and make a record.
The Endless mode gets harder as you progress. You will face normal enemies at first, but after the 35th wave, you will encounter special bosses that are very difficult to defeat.
