Love and Deepspace developer InFold games have finally given us the resident evil bad boy character of our dreams. Prepare your hearts and your wallets.
Information about the main antagonist of the game Sylus becoming a love interest was leaked by an anonymous source on June 21. After some penance and rallying from the LDS team at InFold games, the long-awaited official trailer is finally here!
Sylus is probably one of the most plot-heavy characters in the game. Without spoiling too much for any new recruits, he is seen as the main big bad guy of the story so far. This has sparked a lot of buzz in the Love and Deepspace communities on Reddit and other social media platforms, with people wondering exactly how InFold will fit him into the MC’s current dynamic. July 15th sure can’t come soon enough!
Love and Deep space are known to be a bit more love than it is deep space and many people (myself included) are crossing their fingers for a hostile theme with this new release. The currently released content certainly hints at more edgy and spicy a theme that is new and a welcome change of pace. This is reinforced by the more intimate story trailer dropped earlier today (July 10).
The trailer’s more….adult themes quickly caused an uproar from impatient fans on the LDS subreddit. Anticipation is high and InFold is ready to deliver.

Not only will things get a little more hectic around town, but Love and Deepspace makes it easy for players to stay safe. Sylus for himself.
Free Rewards
Logged in after the update on July 15thit seems that players will be able to secure a 5 star version of Sylus for free. This means that anyone and everyone excited to meet him will get their chance as soon as possible. There were also announcements of free advertising 4 star version and another 5 star available as weekly login benefit. In short, InFold keeps us well fed.
Collectibles
In true “gotta collect ’em all” spirit, LDS also releases a limited time banner event where players can pull for a rare 5-star Sylus titled (No Defense Zone).
Currently, it is unclear how to get this card and how much it will cost in terms of in-game currency. However, these unknowns do not stop loyal fans from saving as much as they can in anticipation. One Reddit user even posted his crowdfunding site diamonds in preparation
Other than these newly announced banners, there is no more information about any upcoming Sylus cards. In true LDS fashion, I’m sure there will be more to come.
Important Notice: if you are a new player or haven’t progressed very far in the story, make sure you get to the introduction of Sylus in the main plot. before the update. Similar to other companions, if you collect their cards before meeting them in the game, you will not gain affinity!
Hopefully, Sylus lives up to the hype and mystique surrounding him. The July 15th update is going to be a big one, so be sure to get ready!
