Sol’s RNG Era 8 update brought a new trader to the game known as Jester along with the much anticipated Mari NPC. The Jester aka Black Merchant sells various items to players but it is difficult to locate him. So here’s a quick breakdown of Merchant Jester’s place in Sol’s RNG.
Where to find Merchant Jester in Sol’s RNG
The Merchant Jester spawns randomly across biomes in Sol’s RNG, meaning you have to wander around the map to locate him. During my playthrough, I found that the game notifies you of the merchant’s arrival by displaying the message “Jester has spawned nearby.”
When you see this message, you will need to check the popular sites for its possible spawn location. Otherwise, the best way is to ask in the chat about Jester’s location, or you can spot a crowd around him.
However, it’s worth noting that the merchant leaves every few minutes, so make sure you spot him quickly.
How to trade items with Jester in Sol’s RNG
As mentioned earlier, Jester sells various valuable items in the game that you can use to your advantage. When I first interacted with him, I could either have a short conversation with him, for example asking, “Who are you?” or merchandise. To trade items, you need P points, which is the only currency he accepts. For example, I could buy Eternal Flame for 13P.
Unfortunately, I don’t know how to farm this currency right now, but I’ll be sure to update this article once I figure out some easy ways.
