We were all Innocents, Sheriffs, and even the famous Tax Collectors in Between Us, but now it’s time to take on some new roles—Trackers, Noisemakers, and Ghosts. These roles will give crew members new ways to track suspicious activity and make things even trickier for the cheaters.
These three new roles come with a number of new actions to perform, helping the crew and cheaters in their opposing goals. The Tracker crew members can place tracking devices on other players, allowing them to open the map and see that other person’s location as they roam around. They can choose to untrack a player at any time and track a new player. However, they will need to be close to a player to cast a new tracer on them, so try to do it when they least expect it.
Noisemakers is another crew role that allows you to emit an animated sound when you are removed so other players can rush in and catch the trickster in the act. If you hear the alarm, just know that the trickster is nearby, so carefully head straight for it.
The Ghost is probably the coolest of the new roles. This cheat will allow you to turn invisible after removing a crew member and reappear in a new location at will. Impostors will be robbed more than ever, but they must use their disappearance wisely. If a crew member catches them disappearing, their secret will be revealed.
These new roles are part of the free update rolling out today. You can experience any of those roles in your normal game modes and use them to accomplish your goals (whether you’re a crew member or a trickster). Which role are you most excited to try?
