Wuthering Waves is full of mysterious and powerful enemies alike; one such enemy with both of those traits is the level 120 Spearback King bear. Finding and defeating the level 120 bear world boss is difficult, so this Wuthering Waves guide is here to help.
Level 120 Spearback King Bear location in Wuthering Waves
The level 120 Spearback King bear is located near the river between the Highland Ruins and Swaying Battlefield in the Whining Aix region of Wuthering Waves. To get to the location, fast travel to either Illusive Realm or the Port Gunchao fast travel point and then go to the marked location to find the bear.
How to beat Level 120 Spearback King Bear in Wuthering Waves
When you finally get to the bear, defeating it will be a whole other challenge in itself. He was able to one-shot two of my level 40 characters because I underestimated it, but I quickly learned my lesson and was able to defeat it by focusing on draining its health with ranged characters.
If you are a low level player like me, add yours strongest long range character to your party and equip them with the best weapons and echoes you own. Also, having a healer doesn’t really make sense at lower levels because the Spearback King will easily one-shot any character, so save that spot for a ranged character.
During the battle, the Spearback King uses three different attacks: claw attacks, pulmonary attacksand quick attacks. Claw attacks have a shorter range, but can catch you off guard, so it’s best to keep your distance and avoid it at all costs.
Then, the bullet attack is where the bear will charge straight at you, which is where you can get perfect dodges and deal some extra damage, but don’t always try to execute them because you might screw it up and lose character. Lastly, the quick attack is where he will continue to attack after the initial throw or claw attack, so keep your distance and hit him from afar.
It might take you a while to beat the Spearback King, especially at lower levels, but his attacks are predictable and very easy to dodge, so you’ll beat him eventually. Don’t worry if you die during the initial battles, as happens to most players, but always remember which attack got you and avoid it at all costs.
