A Content Warning developer hints at possible console ports
Content Warning has been doing numbers since its April 1 release on PC. However, console gamers were left wondering if the game would ever receive a console port. Right now, chances are they will!
Landfall Games, the developers of Content Warning, posted about the game selling 2.2 million copies. An additional 6.6 million people claimed the game while it was free, for a total of 8.8 million players.
However, many responded to this post that the number would be even higher if they ported the game to consoles. Until now, we had no indication if a console version of the game was in the plans. Considering that Landfall Games is an independent studio, this would be a big effort for them, in addition to adding new content for the current player base.
Lethal Company, another success in the indie horror game genre similar to Content Warning with its scary monsters, also does not have a console version. However, a Content Warning might beat them there, as weβre now getting hints of a possible console port.
The official account of Content Warning X @LandfallGames replied to some of the answers asking for a console version. The answers are nothing short of intriguing. One states, βNever say never,β while another just includes the winks.
