How to remove Fog from Northern Forest in Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes
It gets pretty annoying to get lost in the fog and walk in circles, finding the same place over and over again. This guide shows you how to remove fog from Northern Forest in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes.
Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes Northern Forest Fog Guide
To lift the fog from the Northern Forest, find a pathway to the right from the shrine you get sent to and follow it until you find another shrine (point 2 on the map below).
This shrine is different, though, because it shines blue. When you try to activate it, you’ll see a small cutscene featuring the Forest Eater.

Forest Eater is a giant spider that guards the Shrine in the Northern Forest. You can defeat it quite easily by turning combat mode to Auto. However, if you want to do it the hard way, you have to pay attention to some things.
First of all, Forest Eater hangs from threads and attacks from above. When pressed, he’ll unleash an acidic attack on a single enemy unit. Attack with the most damaging heroes and heal/guard with the rest, and you’ll defeat Forest Eater in no time.
Once you defeat Forest Eater, you’re free to activate the shrine and lift the fog over the Northern Forest!
How to find the Northern Forest Shrine in Eiyuden Chronicles Hundred Heroes
Your very first mission in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will lead you to the Northern Forest. You need to find the shrine in the bottom-right part of the forest and defeat a giant spider, Forest Eater, before interacting with a shrine to lift the fog.
You need to go through Northern Forest to reach Northern Runebarrow. However, the forest is under heavy fog, which makes our heroes lose their way. If you try following the pathway to the left, the game will just bring you back to the shrine you previously visited.
Use your map, and you’ll see that the northern part of the forest is completely obscured. It becomes obvious that those shrines have something to do with the fog!
