Diamond in the Raft is Part 6 of the story quests in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4. For this mission, Hope tasks you with gathering some information from across the map and destroying Emma Frost. Here is a detailed guide on how to complete all quest objectives.
Diamond in the Raft story quest walkthrough in Fortnite
The Diamond in the Raft quest is divided into the following six stages that unlock one after the other:
- Stage 1: Find Hope’s instructions near Doom’s Courtyard.
- Stage 2: Use Forecast Tower.
- Stage 3: Hire a scout or supply specialist.
- Stage 4: Place Stark Power Dampeners at the Raft.
- Stage 5: Defeat Emma Frost
- Stage 6: Talk to Hope about the final battle.
Where to find Hope’s instructions near Doom’s Courtyard (map location)
In Fortnite Battle Royale, go to The Courtyard of Doom POI in the northeast section of the map (see first image above). Land near the a statue I indicated in the second picture and pick up the phone from there. The destination is marked on your map and screen so you will have no trouble locating it.
How to use Forecast Tower
For the next task, you need to use a Foresight Tower. These satellite stations appear randomly midway through the match, so keep an eye on your map satellite icons shown in the first image above. Go to the nearest Forecast Tower and eliminate the enemies guarding it. One of the NPCs will drop a Forecast Tower Access Card (second picture). Take the card, go to the terminal and interact with the computer for ensure the prognosis.
How to hire a scout or temporary specialist (map location)
The best way to complete this task in Fortnite is to hire the scout east of The Underworld POI (see map above). You will find an NPC (Artemis) wandering around the train station at the marked location. Go ahead and talk to Artemis hire her as your scouting specialist for 200 gold leagueswhich shouldn’t be hard to find.
Where to place Stark Power Dampeners on the Raft (map location)
The next step requires you to install devices at Emma Frost’s fortress: The Raft. you need place three Stark Power Dampeners one by one around the compound and I marked the location for all of these on the map above. You will also get an indicator on your screen about where to plant the devices. Get to the marked places and place powerful dampers to complete the objective (see the second picture).
How to beat Emma Frost
Next, enter The Raft building and look for Emma Frost, who should be held in the lower level of the prison. Taking her out should be easy, just watch out for any enemy players nearby and try not to get ambushed by them.
Where to talk to Hope about the final battle (map location)
Finally, go to Sandy Steppes in the southwest region of the Fortnite map (see the first image above). Approach the chat indicator and you’ll find Hope there. Talk to her about the final battle and once the conversation is over you should have completed the Diamond in the Raft story quest.
