Like every year, Fortnite has brought back its Winterfest Event. With tons of freebies, skins, and even live events, there are a lot of things to look out for. With a newly revamped map, there are quite a few NPCs with quests, in-game rewards and free XP, so knowing your way around this event is a must. So, to help you with that, we’ve compiled the Fortnite Winterfest guide with all the gifts, map locations, NPCs, Winterfest cabin and more.
Complete List of Fortnite Winterfest Gifts – Gifts For Every Day
Unlike previous Winterfest gifts, this time, all the gifts are located inside the Winterfest Hut, spread out into two piles. There is a pile of presents on the left and another on the right, next to the couch. Each of these gifts contains a gift, and you will be able to open one every daylike an advent calendar. Here are all the rewards you can get from opening each gift in Fortnite Winterfest:

How long will the Fortnite Winterfest Event last?
The Fortnite Winterfest event will last for 18 days, from December 20, 2024 to January 7, 2025.and opening all gifts will take 14 days to complete. If you forget to log in for more than four days during this event, you will not be able to receive all gifts.
How To Access Winterfest Cabin In Fortnite
Now that you know what free gifts you can find from opening gifts, you should too know how to access the Winterfest Hut in Fortnite. Here are the steps to access this cabin and open gifts:
- First, log in to Fortnite and search for the Snowflake icon on the left from the main menu.
- Click on the Snowflake to open the Winter Party Cabin.
- Click on either to the left or to the right a lot of gifts.
- Choose the gift of your choice, and open it.
All Fortnite Winterfest Event Locations (POI)
Besides opening presents, there are quite a few in-game events that you should pay attention to. These include the Mariah Carey live event, multiple Winterfest NPCs, and more. Here are all the Winterfest events available on the map and how to get them.
Mariah Carey Live Event, Location and Reward (Map)
The A Mariah Carey live event is the main attraction of Fortnite’s Winterfest. The huge ice cube that sits in the center of the map will slowly melt to reveal Mariah Carey, culminating in a server-wide live event. Since this is a live event, you must be in game when it drops and complete the limited search at that location to get the reward.
- Location: Center of the Map, Near Brutal Boxcars
- Rewards: All I Want For Christmas Is You (Icon) Emote
Giant Tortoise Event, Location, & Reward
In addition to the live event, there is also a A Giant Turtle that appeared on the map. Although there is no fixed location on the map, the Turtle can be found on one of the ponds or lakes throughout the map.
- Location: Randomly spawns at one of seven locations on the map (Visible from Bus)
- Rewards: +1 Level Reward for Discovery, +1000 XP for completing Ryuji Quest (Repeatable)
Doughberman NPC Event, Location, & Reward
Also, the Doughberman NPC appeared on the mapand you’ll need to find and protect him from attackers to gain in-game benefits. After eliminating six Demon Grunts that attack Doughberman, you can claim the reward by interacting with the NPC.
- Location: Near Twinkle Terrace
- Rewards: 1,750 XP, Option to buy Chug Splash x2 for Gold
